Handbook, stop seven

Tracking an AnovaBuy parcel and signing for it

Where tracking lives, why it goes quiet, what to do when the courier knocks, and the short deadlines for reporting a problem.

Following the parcel

In the user center, open Parcel and pick the shipment; its tracking details open in a panel. The help center also suggests 17TRACK or the carrier's own site, using the tracking number from the same screen.

Silence early on is normal. On some lines the first scan takes about three days to show, and the next update only comes once the carrier picks the parcel up, anywhere from three to ten days later. A status called Aircraft Arrival means either that the parcel is in the air or that it has landed and is waiting to be scanned locally.

When the courier knocks

AnovaBuy treats a normal signature as the end of its responsibility, so the minutes at the door matter more than anything that comes after.

Doorstep checklist: outer box intact, seal unbroken, weight plausible, open in front of the courier, write notes on the waybill or refuse
The doorstep routine from AnovaBuy's Signing Precautions, reordered as a sequence.

Not every courier will wait while you open a box. If yours will not, photograph the unopened parcel on the doorstep and weigh it before cutting the tape. That gives you evidence for the deadlines below.

Something missing or broken

Signing starts two countdowns. The short one is two days: if you signed without opening and then find damage or something missing, keep the box with its tape, go to your local post office, then send AnovaBuy the invoice and photos so it can pursue the carrier. EMS and SAL parcels also need the post office's damage report or case number. The longer countdown is 72 hours for telling AnovaBuy customer service about any problem; after that, complaints are refused.

Evidence checklist for an after-sales claim: damage photos, size label photos, overall photos for wrong style, packing list and weight for missing items
The photos AnovaBuy asks for, matched to the problem.

Two limits come with this. Fragile or perishable goods qualify for loss claims only, never breakage, with or without reinforced packing. And without insurance, AnovaBuy lists many cases with no compensation at all, including customs seizures and parcels delivered intact with contents missing.

Parcels returned to China, and the resend bill

A parcel can return to China before it reaches you. AnovaBuy names four reasons: it still exceeds the size or weight limit of the line after packing, the carrier rules it undeliverable, customs at either end sends it back, or the address fails during delivery. If an outbound parcel returns for a failed security check, no one to sign, an incomplete address or non-delivery, you pay to send it again. When the failure happens inside China before export, the domestic return freight is normally refunded to your balance, except for goods confiscated by security or customs.

Marking it received

Step 10 of the guide asks you to confirm receipt from User Center, Parcel. The same screen is where after-sales requests start if anything is wrong. Completed parcels get a Share button; the guide's last tip is a request to tell friends if you were happy.

Faults that appear later, within a product's warranty, can still be raised. If you have the original receipt and warranty card, AnovaBuy will contact the Chinese seller for you at no service charge, but you pay postage both ways, and the outcome depends on the seller.

Before you press Received

That is the last stop. If you kept every box ticked, the tick-list now shows a full bar; reset it before your next haul.
