Handbook, stops five and six
Building the AnovaBuy parcel and paying to ship it
Choose what travels together, decide on packing, pick a line that accepts your goods, and pay the estimated shipping.
Ticking warehouse items for one outbound box
Anything in Ready for Shipment can travel, and you are free to split your warehouse into one parcel or several. The official guide's step 6 is short: open Warehouse, select the products, submit the package, fill in delivery details and choose the delivery type it recommends.

Several small parcels are not automatically cheaper than one. Many lines charge a first weight unit, so two half-full boxes can each pay that minimum. The line finder on the tools page shows where the price steps sit for your country.
The official guide has no picture of the submit screen either. The one below is our drawing, priced with AnovaBuy's own freight quotes for the UK.

Rehearsal, photos, reinforcement: the packing menu
Step 8 of the guide sums up the warehouse's work as consolidate, reinforce, weigh and send. Some of that is free and some is a paid service you add in the parcel remarks or the service list.
| Service | What you get | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-packaging demonstration | The parcel is packed before you pay and you are told the real weight | CNY 20 per parcel |
| Parcel photography | One photo of the items in the open box, one of the sealed box | CNY 5 per parcel |
| Original packaging removal | Shoe boxes and spare cartons taken off to save weight | Shown when you submit |
| Package reinforcement | Extra cushioning and a sturdier box | Shown when you submit |
| Parcel insurance | Compensation for loss or damage in transit, on the insurer's terms | Shown when you submit |
The rehearsal, as AnovaBuy calls it elsewhere, is the one we would buy on a first parcel. It replaces a guess with a measured weight before you pay, which matters most for bulky clothing.
How the weight is counted
The bill follows the heavier of two numbers: scale weight, or the weight implied by the box dimensions. Box size turns into kilograms once the three sides, in centimeters, are multiplied together and divided: usually by 5000 at AnovaBuy, by as much as 8000 where a carrier is more generous.

Before packing, the system guesses: stored weight plus an allowance for packaging gives the estimated billing weight you pay on. Then the real box is built, weighed and measured, and the carrier can still correct it. The final figure turns up in the parcel details roughly three days after dispatch.
Lines for batteries, magnets and perfume
AnovaBuy splits its air lines by cargo. A general line takes ordinary goods; lines marked as carrying magnetic or electric goods accept batteries and magnets; perfume lines take liquids in perfume bottles. Prices differ, and not every country gets all three.

One oddity worth knowing: for Germany at 1 kg, the battery and magnet line was cheaper than the general line in our replay. We report it as it came back. Pick the cheapest line that is allowed to carry what is in your box.
Paying the shipping
Step 7 in the official guide is the international checkout. It looks like the goods checkout: a pay-by deadline, the same payment options, and an Actual Payable total with any handling fee listed below it.
What you pay here is based on the estimated weight. If the packed parcel comes out heavier, AnovaBuy asks for the difference. If it comes out lighter, beyond a margin, the system refunds the difference to your balance within 72 hours of dispatch. Check the balance after a few days rather than assuming.
Customs, IOSS and a fixed declared total
AnovaBuy keeps a reference table of duty thresholds by country in its help center and adds that it is for reference only. Three points from that article are practical for a first parcel:

Two warnings from that article: express couriers (it names DHL, UPS and FedEx) attract tax more often, and Canadian and European customs look harder. Inspections are sampled at random. When a parcel is pulled aside, the recipient is normally asked for an invoice, and AnovaBuy says one can be downloaded in your account or requested from support.
